The VelJane Company is an entertainment company dedicated to creating quality and unique productions that paint the perfect picture. Our goal is to take the audience on a journey that will enlighten, inform, uplift, entertain and fascinate! VelJane produces screenplays, television programing, documentaries, and novels. VelJane also creates works in the realm of the performing arts to include stage plays, dance, and event productions.
The VelJane Company’s area of expertise includes: film and video production, strategic visioning, creativity and innovation, program development, project management, and event production/management.
The VelJane Name/Special Note from the CEO
The name VelJane is dedicated to my grandmothers, Velma Fleming and Janie Waters. Each syllable within the name VelJane represents each grandmother respectively, along with each face in the logo. My grandmothers were spiritual and caring women who shaped my life by the way they lived theirs. They were pillars of their community by consistantly reaching out and assisting anyone that needed help. Often they gave food, took care of children when their parents needed to work, took care of children who were orphaned, and assisted churches. They were both truly significant in my spiritual growth and inspired me to bring out the best in myself and others. I strive to be like them when I grow up!
