Let’s Talk!
VelJane’s Topics
Finding Your Purpose, Your Self Esteem, and Holding on to your God Given Treasures
Why are you here? Do you have any dreams or goals? Can you name two of your gifts or talents? What is your impression of yourself? Do you have self-respect? If you can’t answer these questions, or if you can answer them but the response is negative, then it is obvious that you are unsure of your purpose and have lost your self-esteem and your treasures. This session aims to assist in identifying one’s gifts, talents, and purpose and to regain self-esteem that one is born with.
Let’s Talk About The Break -Up, Sex, and the Emotional Side of Sex
Often there is conversation centered around having sex, protecting yourself from sexually transmitted diseases, how to please your partner during sex, what to expect, etc. However, it is rare that we cover the topic of how sex affects us emotionally and how to recover from a breakup after we have given ourselves physically to our partners. After a breakup, we wonder, why am I feeling some sort of way? What’s happening to me? I’m not myself and feeling out of control. This workshop created for men and women gives a possible explanation on why it is hard to move forward after a break-up and being sexually intimate with our partners and gives a close look at another option…Abstinence.
Are you in the WRONG ROOM? Are you running in the SLOW HEAT?
When you’re in a social or business gathering are you the best thing in the room? Can you do your job or assignments with your eyes closed? Is your routine pretty much the same? Does your job require in-depth thinking and strategic planning less than 70% of the time? Does everyone want to talk to you or just be in your presence? Do others constantly tell you how great you are? If you have answered yes to at least two of those questions then, you’re in the WRONG ROOM and running in the SLOW HEAT. In order for us to continue to grow and develop, we must strive to be in the presence of others who are more advanced than we are. This session is to assist with identifying if we are in the right room of life. In addition, although some may be in the wrong room, there is also a group that isn’t in a room at all. Instead they are in the hallways watching the rooms of life. Therefore, this session will also assist with moving individuals out of the hallways and placed into the right room for individual growth.
How to Make the Best Out of a Bad Situation
