A “bird watcher” is a person that observes and identifies birds in their natural state. A “people watcher” is a person that observes people in their natural state.
People watching is something that we do both on a conscious and subconscious level and at some point we all participate in it. If you think you don’t, think again. For example, we are sitting in a café and a man or a woman walk into the café. We do a quick scan and out comes the start of an analysis. Is he or she married? Does he or she have children? Is she a lawyer? He looks like a businessman. He looks like a strait-laced kind of guy. She won’t let a guy like me get within two feet of her.
